Life presents us with obstacles. Some of these challenges originate in our past while others unexpectedly arise in our present. These obstacles often leave us in a state of despair, which we may experience as grief, fear or simply, “stuck”.
These challenges when properly analyzed, however, hold great opportunities for self-awareness and personal growth.
In our sessions together we will draw from a variety of evidence based techniques from disciplines such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Positive Psychology.
Psychotherapy provides us with the insight to understand our situation up to this point in life. Specifically CBT and Positive Psychology provide clients with the skills to discover opportunities and choices that were previously unavailable. Clients will learn to apply these tools in an effort to develop and expand their perceptions. Finally, we will use these insights, skills and tools to set achievable goals and allow you to live the life you desire.
